Folks, this simple statement couldn't be more true. Have you ever stopped to think just how fortunate and blessed you really are? When things aren't going your way, have you every been humble enough to realize that there is always someone else in the world who is enduring more hardships than you? Well, the National Honor Society at Meadowbrook High School has taken the time to make those realizations, and that's why we have committed ourselves to doing whatever it takes to help the children and families of the Children's Hospital of Richmond (a member of the Children's Miracle Network).

Last year we hosted the 2014 MBK ROAR-A-THON, a Dance Marathon event, in hopes of raising funds and awareness for the CHoR, and it was one of the most rewarding experiences ever! So much so that we decided to make this event an annual celebration to continue our support of CHoR and the CMN!

This year's event will take place at Meadowbrook High School on Saturday, May 9th, 2015, from 9am-10pm. This event is for the whole family, and there is definitely something for EVERYONE! We will have dancing going on ALL DAY, we have food, games, face painting, bounce houses, performing arts, ZUMBA Session with the one and only Jackie Creel, and much more. We will also have the privilege of getting to hear from some of the families of the CHoR and spending some quality time with them as well! And to top off the event, we will end with a three hour RAVE that was absolutely insane last year! This is going to be a great event!!!!!
