Filmmaking is the other component of our media program here at MBK. Learning to make films has been a passion for many of our media students and will hopefully continue to be. Below, you will find some PSA's, commercials, music videos and short films that our students have written, directed and produced. Feel This Moment: 2014 MBK Senior Video
It has become a tradition at MBK to produce a music video to wrap up the senior school year and this year happens to be Pitbull feauring Christina Aguilera, Feel This Moment. Great job Tony and Linda for their awesome lip synch. And big shout out to the MBK Media crew (6th & 7th period) for all of their hard work this school year! Congratulations to the Class of 2014!!!
The Best Day of My Life @ Hening Elementary
This video celebrates the amazing learning environment created at Hening Elementary School in Chesterfield County, VA. The staff and students at Hening have created a family atmosphere and we only hope it will remain that way as those students reach Meadowbrook High School in the future!!! A great collaboration between two great schools!
The Heart of the School
This video is an entry submission to the 2013-14 VAASL Student Media Festival. The Heart of the School sets out to explain why a school environment is incomplete without an effective Library and more importantly, an effective Library Staff! And Meadowbrook High School has THE GREATEST Library Staff in the world! So what better place than here to get a perfect glimpse of why the Library is the heart of the school!
2014 Crime Solvers Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament
It's becoming a tradition now! MBK Media and Crime Solvers has teamed up again to produce a short film to promote the Crime Solvers Annual Golf Tournament, their biggest fundraiser of the year. We got so much love from our viewers about the Mascots last year that we had to bring them back. This year the characters tried to be serious, but that didn't last long! Watch and enjoy!
2013-14 MEGA Mentors Promotional Video
Meadowbrook High School is one of the participating schools in the MEGA Mentors program in Chesterfield County. So it's only fitting that the Meadowbrook Media Program partnered with MEGA Mentors to put together this promotional video explaining the Who, What, When, Where and Why's about the MEGA Mentors Organization. Congratulations to all the MEGA Mentors Organization for all of the success with helping students in Chesterfield County Public Schools achieve!
2013 Bravo!Awards - Chesterfield Public Education Foundation
MBK Media was approached by the CPEF this year to help cover their annual awards ceremony, the Bravo Awards. Its humbling and very exciting to have professional organizations acquire our services to promote their events. It's a testimony to our work ethic and our product. The Bravo Awards is a very elegant and classy affair honoring some of Chesterfield County Public School's most accomplished graduates. Check out this video to see how these special individuals accomplished their goals and gave back!

This is the senior video promo for the class of 2013. This video just gives a snippet of what to expect on the full length version of the senior video. You can get a copy of this video on the graduation dvd, which will also include the full length senior video, and additional footage from other MBK events from the 2012-13 school year. After Prom Promo @ Ironbridge Sports Park!
This is a short promo/PSA to help promote the entertainment and activities that will be provided during after prom 2013. On May 25, 2013 from 12am to 3am, MBK has total control over Ironbridge Sports Park! Go-Karts, miniature golf, driving range, batting cage, laser tag, dj, bounce house, and much more will be taking place at after prom. Check out the trailer and get ready for a great time!
2013 Annual Crime Solvers Fundraising Golf Tournament
MBK Media did such a great job with the creation of, Crime Solvers: Protecting Your Community, Anonymously, that Crime Solvers returned with another request. This time it was to produce a 30 second commercial promoting their annual fundraising golf tournament. Everyone involved had a great time and we were even able to include the route 10 championship corridor!
Crime Solvers: Protecting Your Community, Anonymously!
The collaboration between MBK Media and Crime Solvers has been a long-lasting one that has proven to be a great connection. This project was an upgrade to a previous video that was done to promote the methods of reporting an anonymous tip. The new version, this version, was a huge success and garnered our Media Program the "2012 Media Representative of the Year" award for the Virginia Crime Stoppers Association. Be sure to watch all the way to the end so you don't miss the bloopers!
2012 MBK FOOTBALL PLAYOFFS PROMO
It has become a tradition at Meadowbrook for the Media Program to highlight the success of our football program at the end of the season to rally our students, faculty and community for the beginning of playoffs. This year was special because our football program won the Central District Title outright for the first time in school history and it's the first time we made it back to the playoffs in four years.
Class of 2012 Senior Video Promo
A group of media students and theater students got together to create this music video, a new rendition of Hold On Loosely by .38 Special, to help promote the 2012 Senior Video. What a great collaboration! Shout out to Wes "Axel Rose" McCauley, Kevin Luna, Keenan Abul-Housn, TJ Olmo, Tyvonte Loney, and KJ Mitchell! Congratulations to the class of 2012!
